Queer Aging BC supports queer, trans, Two-Spirit, and 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors across British Columbia. We build community, help people find support and navigate services, and work with partners to make aging safer, more connected, and more dignified for the people this system has too often overlooked.

Our Mission

Queer Aging BC is dedicated to advocate for systemic change that creates culturally appropriate services for 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors that support and engage them in ways that are meaningful to them.

Our Vision

All 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors in B.C. enjoy fulfilling later years and a dignified end to life.

Where We Call Home

Queer Aging BC works across British Columbia, with roots in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our work takes place on many Indigenous lands. In Vancouver, where much of this work began, we are on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
