Executive Director

She has been working in the senior-serving sector since 2019 and has completed a PhD in Gerontology from Simon Fraser University. Indi is passionate about service equity, accessibility, and community-based services for healthy aging.

Tracey is a Registered Social Worker, educator, community connector, passionate advocate, and vibrant community member. She brings more than 25 years of professional and lived experience across social work, recreation, education, and family caregiving to her role as Manager of the We Are Familee Rainbow Circle.
Tracey is committed to fostering communities where queer, trans, and Two-Spirit adults feel valued, affirmed, and supported to age on their own terms, with a true sense of connection and belonging.

Kay Fraser is a creative and empathic queer woman of mixed race heritage with over 17 years experience working in Program Development, Facilitation and Coordination. With a background in the Arts, Education and Wellness, her work is heavily guided through a holistic, decolonized, trauma-informed lens. Upon moving to Vancouver in September 2025, Kay was eager to build intentional community, and has had the honour to align with organizations. She is currently studying to be a Death Doula, and endeavours to bridge wellness and creative expression with somatics and grief work.

Trevor has been a long time Vancouver resident having lived here since 1990. He is a strong advocate for volunteerism, active aging and community engagement.
As Queer Aging BC’s Community Engagement Specialist, he works with community partners across the province to support culturally appropriate services for aging 2SLGBTQIA+ older adults.
Known for his inclusive, strength-based approach, he enjoys building connections and fostering healthy, engaged communities.

Barb Snelgrove (she/her) is a multi-award-winning PR Specialist, TV/Radio Broadcaster and Community Advocate. As Owner/Operator of megamouthmedia consulting, a boutique media and branding company, Barb brings 25 years of public relations and digital communications experience in 2S/LGBTQIA+ and non-profit organizations to her role at Queer Aging B.C.
Once named by Outtv as one of “Canada’s Top Ten LGBTQ+ People Making A Difference”, Barb is Co-Producer and Host of QueerFM, Canada’s longest running queer radio show and is one of the featured writers of the Lonely Planet book “The LGBTQ+ Travel Guide”. She is an ambassador for #ilovegay, a social first, LGBTQ media company and is an Advisory Panel member of LGBTQ+ PopUp, connecting media and brands to the global digital 2S/LGBTQIA+ community.
